We warned you in our last quarterly release that some exciting new things were on the horizon. Today, we’re excited to announce the first of those exciting things with the release of our brand new, hot-off-the-presses mobile app.
The app has been in the works for a long time now and it has taken the work of a lot of people to get this done right. If you keep an eye out, you might hear from some of those people soon. More on that later.
The mobile app is free on Apple iOS and Android phones. It includes all of the most essential features from the Aquicore platform and even a few new ones. Being able to take your building data with you wherever you go means that this is already a fantastic utility for Aquicore customers, but over the coming months and years, our development team has big plans to add even more must-have functionality.

In making the mobile app, we took the look and feel of the website interface and applied it to something small enough to fit in your phone, so you don’t have to worry about learning a whole new system before you start monitoring your buildings on the go. Our priority here was creating a frictionless transition so that our users can get up, running, and optimizing their buildings from anywhere, anytime.
Just like in the platform, mobile users can take and share in-app notes to help keep everyone informed about building operations. The app also supports photo attachments to notes for added context, so the next time something goes wrong, snap a quick picture of it to make sure everyone knows exactly what’s going on.
The Aquicore app was designed from the ground up with an intuitive customer experience in mind. The idea is that that if you’re ever not sure how to do something, chances are good that you’ll figure it out after a guess or two. In-app support means that you can always contact Aquicore’s customer success team if you need just a little more help.
Mobile dashboards offer instant access to up-to-the-minute data about any building variables or performance indicators that a user wants to track. Dashboards come pre-configured to display a daily snapshot of each building’s status, so you can get a quick update on all the relevant figures right away.
Budget tracking gives you access to up-to-the minute performance estimates on how you’re doing against your budgets at any point throughout the month. Catch possible budget drift with enough time to take corrective actions prior to that “tough conversation.”
The Aquicore app also includes tons of the tools for better managing buildings that teams have become accustomed to in the platform, like predictive energy curves that use historical data and weather forecasts to predict a building’s hour-by-hour energy use a day in advance.
Aquicore is proud to have made another useful addition to our offering - one that should save building engineers, property managers and asset managers a little bit of time in their busy schedules. We have a lot coming out this summer, so keep an eye out for even more exciting features!
